When to Come

We receive travellers all year round. The peak seasons for tourism are from April to June and from September to October.

How to Dress

Be aware that Wadi Rum is located at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above sea level, which means that on some days the temperature is more comfortable but the sun is also stronger. During the winter months, the temperature can drop close to zero degrees Celsius during the night.
Therefore, we recommend loose cotton clothes in summer to protect your skin from the sun. In the winter-time you will need some warm clothes and an anorak.
