Hiking Tour

We offer two-day and even longer hiking tours with two guides, a jeep and overnight stays at different locations. The jeep will carry all luggage and we have the possibility to hike from one place to the next. While one guide hikes with the group, the other will drive the jeep to the next stop and start preparing lunch or dinner. Daily hiking time is between 4 and 6 hours.

Camel Tour

The most authentic way to explore the desert is by camel. We offer a two-day camel tour with one overnight stay. The tour is accompanied by a second guide driving a jeep and taking all the luggage. While one guide will ride along with you by camel, the other will drive the jeep to the next meeting point and prepare lunch and dinner. The daily camel ride will be between 4 and 6 hours.

The camel tour starts at 10 a.m. and ends the next day at around 4 p.m.

If you would like to try a camel ride, we can organize this for you at the beginning or the end of your hiking tour. The price for one hour is 15 JOD.

Camping

All tours mentioned above include camping in the open air, for which we provide food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), drinking water, mattresses and blankets.
If you wish, you can bring your personal sleeping bag and tent.

We offer tailor-made programs. Therefore, all afore mentioned options can be easily adapted to your individual needs and preferences with regard to the numbers of days, duration and level of hike.

Important:
Tours usually start at 10 a.m. and we meet in Wadi Rum Village at the guest house. Find the location here.
Alternatively, you can arrive the evening before between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., so you still have the chance to enjoy the sunset in the desert.
